By accessing or using It Needs A Name ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
It Needs A Name is a domain name discovery tool that generates .com domain name suggestions based on user-provided project descriptions. We verify domain availability at the time of generation but do not guarantee continued availability.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service; (c) access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our permission; (d) use generated names to infringe on existing trademarks knowingly.
5. Domain Names and Trademarks
The Service provides domain name suggestions and trademark screening as a convenience. This does not constitute legal advice. We recommend consulting a trademark attorney before finalizing any brand name. We are not liable for any trademark disputes arising from the use of suggested names.
6. Intellectual Property
Domain name suggestions generated by the Service are not proprietary. Multiple users may receive similar or identical suggestions. We do not claim ownership over generated names, nor do we guarantee exclusivity.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of business, domain availability changes, or trademark disputes.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page, which will permanently remove all your data.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
